This report is the third in a series of reports describing Baltimore City Schools graduates enrolling in college the fall after graduation and how many of them went on to earn degrees after six years.
Findings of the report include:
- The majority of City Schools’ graduates who enroll in college, enroll in local community colleges;
- On average, graduates’ GPAs and SAT scores do not meet admissions requirements at most 4-year colleges and universities; and
- Degree completion rates remain similar to earlier reports where less than 10% of students who started at a 2-year school completed any degree after six years, while over 40% of those who started at a 4-year college completed degrees after six years.
